casino craps

by Jacey Harmoni

Casino craps is the version of the game of craps that we see most commonly played in the casino, in opposite to virtual gambling. Craps involves two die, similar to street craps, but unlike street craps, bets are against the house, not the shooter. It is not found only in casinos anymore, but is now available to play from the comfort of your own home on the Internet. Internet craps can be played for both money and just for fun.

This game begins with a player, or shooter, throwing the dice on what is called the come out roll. The purpose of the come out roll is to establish a point. The point is a number a shooter rolls and tries to roll again before rolling a seven, or craps. The point can be a 4, 5,6,8,9 or 10, and if rolled again before a seven the round ends. If a shooter rolls a seven the round ends and almost everyone loses.

For the beginner, this game can be played online for free. Playing for free is a great way to learn how to manage and enjoy all the available bets in it. There are two types of bets involved with this game. One type  wins when the point or bet number is rolled prior to a seven. The other type  typically will last just one roll and bets on certain number combination.

For example, the come bet is placed on the die total of the next roll. If that number is rolled before a seven, the come bet wins. Or you can place a bet that a shooter will roll a hard eight, or a pair of fours, before a seven or any other combination of eight is rolled. You can place multiple bets on the table after each roll of the die in a round. Learning how to play online is a good way to get a grip on this game.
